Supriyo Sinha currently works as Director – Transformation & Strategy in the parent company of the Peerless group. He is also a Director on the Boards of Peerless Hospital, Peerless Hotels, and Peerless Housing. Supriyo is responsible for building the Peerless group’s long-term strategy and driving the transformation agenda across all subsidiary companies.
With 20+ years of experience, Supriyo has earlier worked as
- 1. Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co., serving some of the leading institutions in India across financial services and industrials sectors
- 2. National Head of Strategy at Axis Bank ($10bn+ turnover) responsible for the strategy and inorganic acquisitions of the bank as well as its subsidiaries, and
- 3. VP and Business Head at ABP Pvt Ltd. (media company), in a P&L leadership role of the flagship print publication Anandabazar Patrika (daily readership of over 3.5 million).
He has also built an e-learning platform of his own in entrepreneurial capacity. Supriyo is a
- 1. graduate from the Harvard Business School and INSEAD Business School
- 2. President's gold medallist from IIM Calcutta
- 3. Mechanical Engineer from IIT Kharagpur
- 4. Certified ‘Independent Director’ as per the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India
